Established in 1995, Abacus is a Uganda-based manufacturer and distributor of pharmaceuticals. It imports and distributes over 600 pharmaceutical products and has an extensive footprint across East Africa. Abacus is also East Africa’s largest manufacturer of parenteral pharmaceutical products (IV fluids, ear, eye and nose drops). The Company employs over 1,000 people across operations in Uganda, Tanzania, Kenya, Rwanda and Burundi.
