Global Credit Ratings is Africa’s largest ratings agency covering insurance, financial institutions, corporates, the public sector and structured finance. Established in 1996 and headquartered in Mauritius, GCR rates over 400 entities across 20 African countries. Ratings teams are organized by sector, while sales are led on a regional basis with hubs in South Africa and Nigeria and referrals from an affiliate in Kenya.
